R.A. Mihailoff 2021 E4

This week Wes and co-host Chad Harlan are joined by fan favorite tough guy R.A. Mihailoff. Known for his role as Leatherface, this lovable Scarefest fixture has appeared in numerous other projects from FULL HOUSE to DEATH HOUSE. He is also a member of the Hollywood Ghost Hunters.

R.A. tells Wes and Chad what he’s been doing during the pandemic, how his interest in paranormal investigation began, the fact he makes a terrifying Kris Kringle, and how much he’s missed the Scarefest family. If that’s not enough. Nicole Griffith pops in to visit and get her R.A. fix.

Linnea Quigley 2021 E3

It’s a real treat tonight as Wes and co-host CC welcome Scream Queen royalty Linnea Quigley to the show. Linnea has a wrap sheet on IMDB that goes on for days including such classics as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD and NIGHT OF THE DEMONS.

Linnea, Wes, and CC delve into how she moved from Iowa to California going from shy girl to horror movie darling, acting under aliases, a disastrous moment on the set of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET IV, and her involvement in pet rescues. She also plays in a band and has her own reality show in production. Now we just need that horror workout video of hers to make a comeback.

Jake Hates Everything SF13 E54

It’s the show that might break the mold as this week Wes welcomes Jake Godbold, horror expert and agent of Mini C the Unspeakable, for an interesting premise. Jake has requested Wes watch two movies and the challenge is for Wes to guess which movie Jake liked and which one Jake hated. The results are hilarious.

Not only do we get the results on the movie challenge, between CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST and SOCIETY, but we also get some passionate commentary on both films and a few lessions on copywrite barriers. Plus Wes gets the lowdown on Jake’s thoughts about virtual conventions.

Darcy DeMoss SF13 E52

We all know her from her bloody role in Friday the 13th: VI and this week Darcy Demoss sits down with Wes and cohost Chad Harlen to talk about her time on the film as well as what made her cohost Tom Fridley uncomfortable while on set.

With a career beginning at age 15, Darcy has been in the business for well over 20 years and during her time she’s worked with some of Hollywood’s greatest. Darcy is not only a great actress but also an avid wildlife photographer and loves to spend time traveling the globe while capturing photos of her experiences.

The talented Mick Strawn joins Wes along with co-host CCAnn this week on Scarefest television. Mick is known for his production design and art work on some of horrors best known movies.

Mick graciously shares stories about his time working on movies such as Boogy Nights and Mortal Combat and shares tips snd tricks of the trade including why blow-up dolls are important. With the state the world is in and all that time spent at home, we also get to hear what Mick is watching these days. Mick also has his podcast, Dream Warrior and his book Behind the Screams, both of which he gives us a taste of.

At the end of the show, the short film,, The Edge of Darkness by Miles Bellar is shown and Mick gives his critiques and shares tips on what film makers can do to help their projects.

 

Felissa Rose SF13 E21

Podcast, karaoke and toilet paper, oh my! Scream queen and Scarefest fan favorite Felissa Rose sits down with Wes and Billy Crank this week to talk about everything from her podcast, her love (and lack of talent) for Karaoke and why a pandemic means buy all the toilet paper.

Felissa also talks about keeping a balance between her busy filming schedule and convention appearances. Conventions can be a wild ride and we get to hear Felissa’s most memorable con moment. CARNIVAL OF SOULS is either an intentionally layered and meaningful film, or it was a ‘happy accident’ by Herk Harvey.
