Tonight, Wes and co-host Chad Harlan sit down with Steve Kulls, E.M.T., private investigator, and Sasquatch detective, to talk a little cryptozoology.

Kulls chats about the state of cryptid investigations during Covid, his favorite place to investigate, when did Sasquatch research truly become a serious venture, and attempts to answer the nagging question of why there are no Bigfoot carcasses on display somewhere.

In our regular features, the Week in Horror honors the “Ghost with the Most” and Joe Lewis gives us his first impression of the remake of Stephen King’s THE STAND. Plus, we get a trailer for another movie from the Scarefest film festival!

 

Announcements and Stuff 2021 E12

Wes and co-host CC Ann have a short show tonight but it is packed full of material!

There are some big celebrity announcements, like Jenna Jamison and a KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE reunion kind of big. We also learn that there won’t be a shortage of movies for the Scarefest Film Festival and we even get a preview of one of them.

There are even a few hard-hitting questions posed, like is Jamaica really haunted and will DISCOVERY + channel ruin paranormal television?

 

Jennifer Banko 2021 E11

This week Wes and co-host Chad Harlan welcome the spunky Jennifer Banko. Banko has made numerous appearances in movies and on TV but is best known for her role in FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 7: THE NEW BLOOD. Banko is also set to appear in the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH fan film, 13 FANBOY.

Banko discusses 13 FANBOY, how she got into acting, what it’s like to be a child actor, and the possibility of having real life stalker fans. She also speaks a little bit about her interest in tarot reading. It is an interesting evening, indeed.

All of this plus more celebrity announcements and Joe Lewis give us a review for a British ghost story anthology movie.

Victor Paruta 2021 E10

Tonight’s show is extra metaphysical as Wes and Chad Harlan host Victor Paruta. Paruta is a tremendously gifted medium, clairvoyant, and tarot reader who has been voted Cincinnati’s Best Psychic.

Wes, Chad, and Victor discuss when Victor’s gift manifested, how his gifts shape his paranormal investigations, and whether Covid has changed the spiritual world and how it may have affected mediumship. Plus, we learn Wes’ true feelings about hugs.

We also get a nice handful of Scarefest announcements, Joe Lewis talks about the artistic horror of a LARS VAN TRIER film, and the Week in Horror salutes a “corny”1984 Stephen King classic

Tony Todd Couldn’t Be with Us Tonight SF13 E9

If the title doesn’t give it away, Tony Todd was unavailable this evening. What’s a host to do? He wings it! Wes and co-host CC Ann stretch their collective improv talents by giving us an off-the-cuff discussion of Todd’s movies, check the chatroom for viewers’ favorite Tony Todd roles, and debate the merits of the movie SKY SHARKS.

There are also several celebrity announcements in the mix. Spoiler alert, one of them is a major Scream Queen! In addition, Joe Lewis gives us his impression of the British horror-comedy GET DUKED!

Sean Whalen 2021 E8

This week Wes and co-host Chad Harlan welcome Sean Whalen. If the name isn’t familiar, his face will ring a bell. Whalen is best known in horror circles as Roach from THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS but he has appeared in countless TV shows and movies since the early 1990s.

Wes and Chad learn how Whalen chooses his roles and how he prepares for them, shares the story of how he met his fiancée at Scarefest, and if he has ever done a Western. Whalen even gives away some autographed merch during the segment. He’s a super classy guy!

Our regular segments has Joe Lewis sharing his thoughts on a Shudder original anthology movie, the week in history spotlights Bruce Campbell, and Cliff Stone breaks the news on a Jason Voorhees hot sauce. Yes, a hot sauce.

Helene Udy 2021 E7

Tonight, Wes and co-host CC Ann share the screen with the incredibly talented Helene Udy. Udy is known in horror circles for starring in the 1981 horror classic MY BLOODY VALENTINE but her acting career spans a number of genres. On top of that, she’s an acrobat and a trained clown.

Helene discusses the diverse variety of characters she’s played over the years, her upcoming projects, how she hosts her own virtual Cabaret shows, and how she got into horror. There is even a little segment on clown classifications.

In our regular features, Joe Lewis compares the 1995 film CASTLE FREAK to its recent remake; Dick Pinkerton spotlights a British killer, and the Week in Horror spotlights an Oscar winning horror classic. Keep your eyes peeled for the 15 Second Horror Film Challenge.

The Booth Brothers 2021 E6

This week Wes and co-host Billy Crank are joined by the remarkably multi talented Booth Brothers. The Booths bring a wide variety of skills to the show as directors, producers, actors, and musicians as well as being immense paranormal enthusiasts.

The Booths discuss their new documentary film THE ATTACHED, open up about their passion for the process of filmmaking and their inspirations, and weigh in on supernatural experiences they’ve had during the making of their films. There might even be a discussion about who they might have had fanboy reactions to at a prior Scarefest.

We also get a great retrospective on Clive Barker from Joe Lewis and Breaking the News gives us a peek at a WRONG TURN remake and tells us about Nicholas Cage’s kooky new horror movie.

Tonya Webb of Old Hospital on College Hill 2021 E5

Tonight Wes and co-host Chad Harlan welcome Tonya Webb, co-owner of the Old Hospital on College Hill, a paranormal hotspot in Williamson, West Virginia. To celebrate the show, Wes even cut his hair!

R.A. tells Wes and Chad what he’s been doing during the pandemic, how his interest in paranormal investigation began, the fact he makes a terrifying Kris Kringle, and how much he’s missed the Scarefest family. If that’s not enough. Nicole Griffith pops in to visit and get her R.A. fix.
