John & Stacey Edwards Weirdness in Review SF 2021 E40

We ring in the New Year as Wes welcomes John and Stacey Edwards for their annual review of all of the oddities and unusual events the world enjoyed in 2021.  We’d be hard pressed to find a better way to kick off 2022.

John and Stacey share a collection of the best offbeat, and sometimes disturbing, stories such as the US government officially acknowledging the existence of UFOs, the discovery of a lost city in Egypt, and an exorcism in a Home Deposit. If you can’t get enough of John and Stacey, be sure to check out their podcast at paranormalsideshow.com

Also, don’t miss a big guest announcement or Joe Lewis’ review of the SAW spinoff movie, SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW, to learn a little about “smell the fart” acting.

Just Another BS Episode SF 2021 E38

No special guests. No agendas. This episode is as casual as it comes as Wes and Chad Harlan just shoot the breeze and catch up on what they have been doing in the off-season after a super successful Scarefest season.

Wes and Chad weigh in what shows and movies they’ve been watching (it’s a LOT of Marvel properties) as well as take recommendations from the chatroom. Wes gives us a sneak peek on the inner workings of booking protocols and musical guests. Plus, we ask if people still watch horror movies anymore.

In our regular features, Joe Lewis gives a heartfelt review of GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE. As a bonus Wes and Chad also give their thoughts on this nostalgia inducing film.

John and Stacey present many of 2020’s most unusual, unearthly, and mysterious stories. Topics range from the official acknowledgment of UFOs to baffling monolith sightings, found treasure, witch bottles. and so much more. Plus we learn about some really interesting Federal job opportunities.

Even the regular features are jam packed as Joe Lewis gives a deep insight into THE LODGE, Dick Pinkerton drops some Ted Bundy lore, and Cliff Stone talks fetish demons and satanic Christmas letters.

Brandon Griffith SF13 E19

This week Wes sits down for a cozy chat with Brandon Griffith, Scarefest co-owner and scholar of many things horror and paranormal related, with the focus on the progress being made toward Scarefest 13.

Brandon discusses how the work on the Convention center is shaping up, ideas for improving events like the VIP party, and booking guests thematically so they tie together well. An example being this week’s announcements of several celebrities involved with the Hellraiser franchise. No spoilers but it builds to a HUGE announcement! (His name rhymes with Jive)

In our regular features, we get a visit from a cranky Joe Lewis as well as Trailer Nation. FakeShemp brings us some found footage awesomeness. Also, don’t forget to check out Glenn’s new show, Good Movie Monday.

Lastly, we’ll get more ax throwing this year. Oh yeah!!!

Change of Plans SF13 E12

Not every week goes as planned and occasionally, like this week, a guest has to cancel last minute due to various reasons. But fear not, Wes and Chad still assault your ears with discussions about random topics such as, convention site construction, what’s on TV now and why Chad is possibly bad luck.

We also have our usual weekly segments and a new short film, The Thing From the Otherside, written and directed by Miles Bellar. We have featured Miles’ shorts before and they are always well done so you’ll definitely want to check it out.

To wrap the show up, Billy Crank and friends go ‘Chasing Spirits’ and because it’s Billy, you’re guaranteed a laugh or two.
