Darcy DeMoss SF13 E52

We all know her from her bloody role in Friday the 13th: VI and this week Darcy Demoss sits down with Wes and cohost Chad Harlen to talk about her time on the film as well as what made her cohost Tom Fridley uncomfortable while on set.

With a career beginning at age 15, Darcy has been in the business for well over 20 years and during her time she’s worked with some of Hollywood’s greatest. Darcy is not only a great actress but also an avid wildlife photographer and loves to spend time traveling the globe while capturing photos of her experiences.

After this episode, be sure to check out DarcyDemoss.com or DarcyDemoss19 on Instagram for more on her upcoming projects. You can also check out Exoticvisuals.com to see her work in wildlife photography.

Paul Bradford with Ghost Stories SF13 E51

This week the Scarefest adience is the guest! On this special edition episode, Wes is taking calls from the audience to talk about their personal ghost stories and who better to help him take those calls than paracelebrity Paul Bradford from Ghost Hunters International and Trending Fear.

Before the calls start coming in, Paul talks with Wes about whether or not he’s a believer in the paranormal and what technology he uses on his ghost hunts including his own invention, the Boo Buddy.

If all of that and the promise of awesome ghost stories isn’t enough to draw you in, tune in to see Wes and his floating head along with his own self proclaimed shitty ghost story. There’s something here for everyone!

Nicholas Vincent aka Circus Envy SF13 E50

If you have a fear of clowns, this episode is for you! What better way to usher in Halloween than to have the face of Halloween himself, Nicholas Vincent aka Circus Envy as a guest.

Circus Envy is the alter ego of Nicholas and has been a part of his life for over 20yrs. There’s a lot of psychology behind him being a clown and he gives Wes a small glimpse into that and he even turned his story into a comic book to dive into the origins of Circus Envy. Nicholas is a very well spoken and articulate person and hearing him speak is a welcome change from our usual rif raf (only partially joking) so you won’t want to skip this episode.

Bonus content with this episode is Wes debuting his new character Whispers the Clown and giving us the magic that is clown hands. Seriously, it’s majestic and you’ll want to check it out.

Halloween Origins with Stephanie Bingham SF13 E49

We all love it but do we know why we celebrate it? This week Wes welcomes Stephanie Bingham, historian and psychic medium, back to the show to discuss the origins and evolution of that spooky, fantastic holiday called Halloween.

Wes and Stephanie delve into the ancient traditions behind apple bobbing, jack o lanterns, soulcakes and more as they cover the various aspects of Halloween that have woven together from multiple countries of origin and old traditions over the centuries. Plus, if you don’t know what “belsnickeling” is, you’re sure to find out!

In our recurring segments, Joe Lewis goes PG/PG-13, the Week in Horror spotlights puppets and pumpkins, Dick Pinkerton returns with chilling True Crime, and news anchor Cliff Stone brings a new segment to the show.

Scott Kindred SF13 E48

One, two, Freddy’s coming for you. Tonight, Wes welcomes cosplayer/entertainer Scott Kindred to the show. Scott is Scarefest’s perennial Freddy Krueger player and all around nightmare maker supreme.

Wes and Scott discuss the various elements of developing a character, how Scott became involved in cosplay, what other characters he portrays, and what it takes to make a convincing character in person. Scott even shares a great Robert Englund story. Pure gold.

Our regular features sees Joe Lewis’ take on the CREEPSHOW tv series, a female serial killer tale from Dick Pinkerton, and a throwback movie review or two from down-under.

All this and handy tips on what to do with your voting stickers!

Author Elizabeth Fields SF13 E47

This week Wes and co-host Coyote Chris host author Elizabeth Fields Bowen for a cozy chat about horror and Halloween. Fun fact: Elizabeth’s mom tried to poison Wes back in 2016. If that doesn’t say interesting interview, what does?

Wes, Chris, and Elizabeth dive into Halloween memories, Elizabeth’s writing process, a few of her personal ghost stories, and her interest in mediumship. Elizabeth is also in the process of getting at least one of her books, DON’T LET THEM IN up on the big screen and she talks about the steps she is taking to get that completed.

In our regular features, Joe Lewis gives the rundown on a serial killer TV series. We also get language lessons from the spooky folks at Wicked World Scaregrounds. This episode has a little bit of everything.

Another Call In Night SF13 E46

It’s that time again, the call in show has returned. Wes and cohost Chad Harlan discuss the shows and movies they are currently watching and what viewer’s might want to consider adding to their watch lists. New suggestions include THE BOYS, NURSE RATCHED, and COBRA KAI.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a call in show without any calls. Wes and Chad hook up with that rascal Jake Godbold to talk about everything from Shudder shows like CREEPSHOW to plans for Halloween to suffering from Norman Reedus fatigue syndrome. Yep, that’s really a thing.

Our regular features bring us Brad Pitt and cult classic transvestites from the Week in Horror and Joe Lewis doubles down with reviews of THE BABYSITTER (2017) and BABYSITTER: KILLER QUEEN.

Chris Majors SF13 E45

The talk is all about the stars tonight as Wes and co-hoest CC Ann welcome celebrity agent, musician, and memorabilia collector Chris Majors to the show. Chris’ agency, Monster Memorabilia and Entertainment, is chalk full of media stars you’ll recognize plus cool collectibles for all of the superfans.

Chris discusses how the pandemic has affected his agency and what he has done to remain sustainable, how he became a celebrity agent, his feelings on virtual conventions, and all of the numerous other aspects of his job. Along the way he also shares a few celeb stories and even offers some roofing advice. It’s that kind of show!

In our weekly offering Joe Lewis takes a look at a SHUDDER exclusive movie and the Week in Horror gets squishy and brutal. This week also sadly sees the last Scarefest TV offering from our Aussie movie maestro Glenn but what an offering it is.

We’ll miss Glenn on the show but you can always still find him at FakeShemp and Good Movie Monday. G’Day Mate!

Scarefest Cancellation and Post CyberCon SF13 E44

Not quite the post episode we are use to but this is our first ever post Cybercon break down and Wes is joined by Brandon and Nicole Griffith to talk the wins and loses for our test run.

Unfortunately they also discuss the cancelation of Scarefest 13 and what that means going forward not only with the convention itself but the convention center as well.

Paul T Taylor SF13 E43

On the eve of the first ever Scarefest Cybercon, Wes and Brandon are joined by the ever friendly and charismatic Paul T. Taylor. Paul is best known in the horror community for playing the iconic roll of Pinhead in Hellraiser: Judgement.

Paul has many projects he’s proud of and he talks to us about many of those including the largest role he’s played to date and the time he worked with Tony Todd. For more info on Paul’s work and upcoming projects, be sure to check out Paulttaylor.com.

With this being the eve of our first ever Cybercon, Wes and Brandon talk about the upcoming event and why it’s probably not a good idea to have it at the same time and location as the Miss Teen Kentucky pageant.
