The story of the #Trashfriends:

A couple of years ago it was brought to our attention that someone in the horror industry referred to horror fans, convention volunteers and convention employees as “trash friends”. Our first instinct was to call this person out so that everyone could see who they really were. But, being the tight-knit family that we are, we decided that it would be much more fun to EMBRACE the title, make it into a hashtag, and wear it proudly. We are all #TRASHFRIENDS!
