Scarefest Television announces its monthly “Short Form” Video Contest.

With the successful launch of its Best of Scarefest TV video series on all of our social media platforms, Scarefest TV is ready to take our channels to the next level and we want YOU to be a part of that.

We are looking for horror or paranormal video shorts that we can distribute on our social media.

• Video skits – 60 second or less.
• Video shorts – 10 minutes or less.
• Video scripts that we can produce in those categories.

Each calendar month leading up to Scarefest Weekend 2024 we will award ONE ENTRY a Weekend Plus Pass for being that month’s best video entry. All of the video entries that we use and distribute on our social media will receive a Weekend Pass. All scripts that we make into videos will be awarded a Day Pass of their choosing.

If ANY VIDEO OR SCRIPT reaches what we consider “VIRAL STATUS” we will award that entry a Golden VIP Pass.

• All entries must be ORIGINAL CONTENT that we can brand with our Scarefest Weekend branding.
• No music or dance videos will be considered to avoid copyright issues.
• Videos may not be released ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET until we premier them on our channels.

All entries can be emailed to SCAREFESTRADIO@GMAIL.COM. Videos can also be uploaded to an “unlisted” YouTube page and the private link submitted to us as your entry.

If you already have your Scarefest Weekend Pass, but would like to enter, you are welcome to transfer the awarded pass or your existing pass to another person free or for compensation. By entering this contest you affirm that the content submitted is original, that you have rights to that content, and that Scarefest Weekend and Scarefest TV is granted full rights to use your submission, edit it or alter it with any branding we deem appropriate, and distribute it freely without further compensation. “Viral Status” will be defined by the staff of Scarefest Weekend and Scarefest Television based on the performance observed of the entry as played and shared on our various social media outlets. If no content reaches “Viral Status” awarding of Golden VIP Passes will be at the discretion of Scarefest Weekend. “Best entry” will be determined solely by the staff of Scarefest Weekend and Scarefest Television without regard to performance after distribution. In the event that in any given month, there are no entries or if there is only one entry, at our discretion no Weekend Plus pass may be awarded for that period.
